Sarvajanik Ganehotsav Samiti, Maharashtra Sadan was formed in 1997 by the employees of Maharashtra Sadan and since then it has been celebrating the Ganeshotsav with enthusiasm and religious fervor. The staff of all the Maharashtra Government Offices and Corporations in New Delhi is the part of the Samiti. Ganpati festival celeberation is always in true tradition as set by Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak. It runs for 10 day and each day various cultural programmes depicting the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra are organized.  

 MAHARASHTRA  DAY, 1^st MAY  CELEBRATION

The flag hoisting and a function on 1^st May is organized at Maharashtra Sadan every year to mark the birth of Statehood of Maharashtra. Resident Commissioner, Government of Maharashtra unfurled the National flag.   The good work of employees are also acknowledged on this occasion every year.
